TALLIKI VANDANAM AMOUNTS RECEIVED

Terapadu, a settlement of migrant Adivasis (IDTs), is located in the Pothanapalli forest area within the Chinturu Gram Panchayat of Chinturu Mandal. 19 Muria Adivasi families have been living in this village for the past 20 years. Although there is no school in the village, 11 Adivasi migrant children (6 boys and 5 girls, Aged 6 to 9) currently walk through the forest every day to the village of Taparapeta—located four kilometres away—to pursue their primary education. Apart from them, 12 children (11 boys and 1 girl) from this same village—Aged between 10 to 13—are studying in classes 4th to 6th at the tribal ashram schools in Kalleru, Guduru, and Maddigudem.

However, this year (2025), all these children were able to benefit from the Andhra Pradesh government's 'Thalliki Vandanam' scheme. Before the payments we made proactive measures—such as linking bank accounts of all mothers in the village with the NPCI for 'Thalliki Vandanam' and MNREGS payments, opened postal payment accounts for who are without bank accounts, and ensured that bank accounts remained active. So, the mothers of all 23 children (11 mothers in total) were able to receive the 'Thalliki Vandanam' funds without any difficulty. 23 x Rs. 13,000/- = Rs. 2,99,000/-; this amount was received under the scheme during the period from July to September 2025.

1.  2 families with four children, each mother received amount of Rs. 52,000/-.

2.  2 families with three children each mother received amount of Rs. 39,000/-.

3.  4 families with two children each mother received amount of Rs. 26,000/-.

4.  3 families with one child each mother received amount of Rs. 13,000/-.
